NGC was founded in 2019 as a response to a deep concern about traditional education and its impact on the lives of children and young people. Although our family has been linked to the higher education sector for years, we always felt that the basic and secondary education model was not aligned with the real needs of today's students.
We realized that long hours, academic overload, and the pressure of the traditional system not only limited the development of individual talents but also affected family quality of life and children's well-being. The system is designed to classify students in rankings and measure success based on grades, neglecting real learning, creativity, and personal purpose.
A clear example was our son Samuel, who was passionate about soccer. His daily routine was exhausting: he would leave school in the afternoon, had to do homework and study for exams before he could train, which left him with little time to rest and enjoy with family. We asked ourselves: is this the ideal path for his growth and happiness?
After reflecting on this for a couple of years, we came to a key conclusion: the problem was not a particular school, but the educational system itself. We looked for alternatives and explored homeschooling, which seemed like an excellent option due to its flexibility and personalization, but with the challenge of lack of socialization and structure.
This is how New Generation Center (NGC) was born, a space designed to offer the best of both worlds:
An innovative, flexible, and personalized educational model that allows students to learn at their own pace and balance their academic life with the development of their talents.
An environment where family is a priority, fostering learning without sacrificing coexistence and well-being.
Two learning options: a USA homeschool program with academic support and an in-person program at our country headquarters in Sabanilla, where students can socialize, learn, and grow together.
Today, NGC is more than an institution, it is an educational movement that seeks to form generations with purpose, autonomy, and a positive impact on the world. We believe that education should be a tool for children and young people to discover their purpose, develop their maximum potential, shine with their own light, and above all, be happy.
